Project Description

ISKAR successfully completed the repair and refurbishment of a combined ship loader/unloader at TMO Jetty, Mersin Port, with a loading capacity of 1,200 tph and an unloading capacity of 2 × 300 tph. The equipment had been damaged in an accident in June 2017.

The project included the complete reconstruction and installation of Bulk Unloading Jib No. 01 and its associated equipment, including suction tubes, vertical and horizontal machinery, and all related accessories. A new gangway ladder with self-leveling steps was also manufactured and installed on the crane.

As part of the refurbishment, ISKAR replaced and commissioned all hoisting and luffing wire ropes for the remaining two jibs, along with all safety switches. The crane's reliable and trouble-free operation was verified during commissioning tests.
